I have alot of symptoms of fibromyalgia, including nonstop pain. my dr started me on cymbalta (duloxetine). it's helped my pain alot does it mean i have fibro?

Not necessarily: I do not recall learning that response to a medicine was a criteria for FM diagnosis. It is good the medicine is helping. As for the cause of the symptoms, more information would be needed to make a diagnosis. Perhaps the person who prescribed the medicine would know that answer?

Not necessarily: Cymbalta (duloxetine) helps a lot of pain syndromes and I'm glad that it is helping yours but that is not diagnostic. Fibromyalgia is a diagnosis of exclusion and is made when you meet a certain number of criteria ( kind of one from column a and one from column b) and other diagnoses have been ruled out.
