Yes: Often type 2 diabetes causes no obvious symptoms but sometimes it can present with increased urination, increased thirst and blurry vision. All people who are at risk of type two diabetes, (overweight, family history, history of diabetes in pregnancy etc) should be checked periodically for type 2 diabetes.

3 P's: Polyuria, polydipsi, polyphafia urinate a lot, thirst, hunger but diabetes usually starts months/years before with no symptoms; that's why routine screening needs to be preformed , especially in folks with family history of diabetes.
