I had surgery under general 5 weeks ago today. i'm just not feeling myself since the anesthetic. i'm anxious, exhausted, dizzy, headaches, joint pain etc. is this common and when will i feel normal?

Multiple symptoms: It has nothing to do with your anesthesia. All anesthetics used now a days are short acting and are out of your system within hours at the most. You should see your surgeon for evaluation.

Not normal: The general anesthetic and drugs administered were cleared from you body within the 24 hour post op period. I am quite suspicious of another cause of your symptoms and would recommend you see your physician as soon as possible.
