Arrhythmia?: This could be a sign of a heart arrhythmia. It would be wise to see you Dr so they can do a complete exam and monitor your heart. Atrial fibrillation can produce a fluttery feeling and can be corrected by coughing. The fact that you are having high heart rate, dizziness and numbness now makes this an urgent situation. Untreated arrhythmias can lead to blood clots/stroke.
