Ureterolithiasis: Kidney and ureter stones can be extremely uncomfortable. The best way to start is to ensure you are drinking adequate amounts of water which will help you pass the stone. There is some evidence that calcium channel or alpha blocking medications will help you pass the stone. Treat your discomfort with pain medication and see a doctor for continued symptoms.
