Chriari malformation: arnd chiari malformation and hearing loss probably have nothing to do with zofran (ondansetron). There were no studies about zofran (ondansetron) causing malformations.

No clear association: There have been reports of Arnold Chiari malformations among patients taking Zofran, (ondansetron) but no studies indicating a clear cause and effect on the development of an unborn child. The overall incidence of AC malformation has been estimated as one per 1000 births. It is not likely to cause Arnold Chiari malformations, but more information is needed.
