Home remedies: There are some home remedies that you might want to try to get rid or or decrease the size of the mucocele. I would possibly first be seen by your dentist or an oral surgeon to evaluate the area to make sure that it is really a mucocele. Some remedies are: Swishing with warm saltwater and application of alum, honey, or evening primrose oil on the affected area.
