Thickening of skin?: Needs to be examined by your PCP/dermatologist as it could be marker for some systemic problems.Conditions like sceleroderma, where skin becomes thick and waxy from inflammation of the skin,lupus, psoriasis, a condition called icthyosis where the skin become like fish skin but not pink or red usually,and many more skin conditions need tobe ruled out. Do you have other prob. like joint pain,fever?
