Knowing specifically: where on the foot is important. Numbness can be a nerve entrapment, cramping could be a spasm, you don't often get cramps to the top of a foot as you tend to cramp where there is muscle belly…it is more common on the bottom of the foot. you should see a foot doc for an in person exam. consider a walking boot
