Vague: Can be a lot of causes- grinding, clenching of your teeth, checked something too hard in front, gun disease, recent dental treatment, an infected tooth that is affecting the other teeth, some trauma- where one or all the teeth were struck, etc. If this is the first time, try and figure out what you did the day before I would see a dentist if this continues for a few days

Toothache: Toothaches are caused by decay, trauma, debris stuck underneath your gums tissues or a few other things. Do you have swelling? See a dentist ASAP to find out why you are having pain and the best treatment. In the meantime OTC pain medications can help. Stick with a soft diet while it is sore.

Inflammation: The pain is due to inflammation in the area. Can't tell what is causing the inflammation without an exam with radiographs. Please make an appointment with a local dentist for a definitive diagnosis and treatment.
