Screen & in-depth: Cardiologist will take a thorough history, do an exam, check an EKG, and likely look at an ultrasound of your heart to see how it is functioning. May check blood work. If any of the above concerning, will discuss with you risks/benefits and timing of further evaluation of your heart (but this step uncommon in 20-30s pregnant women).
