Yes: If you have pain bad enough that it is interfering with opening your mouth then you need to see a doctor today. You could have an abscess forming in or behind the tonsil and that is a very serious infection.

See doctor now or: go to ER as you may hav a peritonsilar abscess which can be dangerous.
