I am on nystatin oral. i squish in mouth and swallow it.now my gyn is giving me fluteazole for yeast infection.should i continue to swallow nystatin?

Yes: While the oral antifungals work systemically, some times the topical meds like nyststin work better on the surface tissues like in your mouth or GI tract. I'd suggest that you discuss the use of the two drugs simultaeously with your doctor. Hope this helps and you feel better fast.
