Therapy?: Have you yet tried any form of psychotherapy? Typically, the optimal combination of things to treat emotional issues such as anxiety or depression is medication (which, on your best day, is supposed to take the edge off symptoms) but the real gruntwork takes place in psychotherapist's consulting room.

Likely: Those are all symptoms of anxiety/panic disorder. If you have health issues though, you might want to check it out with your doctor to make sure there's not a physical cause.

Sounds like the: classic panic attack sx's. Get a general physical, especially to check hormones and meds, but then seek out a therapist. Here's a reference for anxiety: http://www.psychologyproductsandservices.com/page2.html

Yes, anxiety/panic: Yes these symptoms can be due to anxiety or a panic attack. If this happens often, you might want to think about what triggers it (situation, persons, thoughts). Does it occur when sitting still, or only on exertion (climbing stairs, running)? Consult your MD, some meds may help. Recommend you consider talking with psychologist who knows CBT psychotherapy techniques. Good luck!
