Tonsillitis: You have tonsil or throat infection, not cancer. You may be on the wrong antibiotic or inadequate dose. Please contact the doctor who examined you and prescribed the antibiotic.

No, cancer does not: These are symptoms of an infection/ Inflammation. Cancer typically does not cause pain when it is early and localized to one area. This should start getting better in another 2-3 days. So just be patient and treat the symptoms.
