A member asked:

What are my options after a failed lateral release & a failed series of orthovisc injections? is an osteotomy likely?

What is your dx: We need a clear diagnosis before recommending more and more surgery. You are very young and did not likely have the classic indications for Orthovisc. A lateral release is successful when performed in the right patient. For many years, doctors were performing this procedure too commonly, and some patients did not find relief. I would recommend a Sports Medicine specialist at this juncture.
