Virus: A viral gastroenteritis is likely and this usually runs its course in several days without specific treatment except light diet,rest, adequate fluids including room temperature, flat ginger ale and Tylenol (acetaminophen) as needed. Kaopectate helps control diarrhea. See your Physician if symptoms persist longer than a few more days.
