Friend had legionnaires in the 80's. has exp. periods o fever, chills nausea every yr for 24 yrs. cbc is normal. last episode only 4 mo from last. sudden onset, fever, chills-confusion. tests neg.

What is the question: In order to diagnose this would not only need full set of medical records, but a full history from your friend and a physical exam. Have him seen by an infectious diseases expert. Hope this clears up soon.
