Normal response: Blood pressure may raise when you are emotionally or physically disturbed. It is a normal physiological response.

Well,....: I would not say it is normal, but the reaction to some anxiety is certainly the possibility of a rising blood pressure. Be sure to get your anxiety assessed and treated as even small persistent rises in Blood pressure can be cause for future medical issues. Best wishes.
