Brushing ur tongue?: R u sure that ur taste buds were damaged from brushing? The taste buds are located on the sides of the tongue, back, & the tip. Soft bristle brushes shdn't damage them (& helps w/ bad breath). However, like all cells lining the oral cavity, they will regenerate over weeks to months. In the mean time, food could taste weird & b painful to swallow. TTYD, dentist, or an ENT doctor for more info. Thnx

It is possible: to damage the taste buds and create an opening for a potential infection due to brushing the tongue too vigorously or with harsh bristles.
