The blood: in your urine is NOT a normal manifestation of Diverticulitis.....go to your doctor ASAP Good Luck! Hope this helps Dr Z

Need Dr eval, as...: Hematuria (blood in the urine) is different than blood in the stool form diverticulitis. You need to be evaluated for the cause of blood in the urine now. best wishes.

Currently have dx of diverticulitis. Had blood work and urine culture done. Blood work is normal and shows no infection but urine shows leukocyte level at 25. Currently on flagyl and cefdinir. What reason would there be elevated leukocytes?
