Resending answer:): The pyramidal tracts are tracts of nerve fibers that run from the brain to the brain stem or spinal cord to control muscle function in the body. Injury may be caused by stroke, brain hemorrhage, tumor, infection, inflammation such as from meningitis or multiple sclerosis, or trauma.
