The food pyramid: has been replaced by the "food plate" which you can find on the net. Many well trained in clinical nutrition believe that it is not much of an improvement. A visit to a clinical nutritionist is your best bet. Peace and good health. Government RDAs are very low. Over the counter daily vitamins are typically weak.
