Not appropriate: Asking if you need neurosurgery on HealthTap is not appropriate. The doctors seeing the images and patient and able to do surgery are the people to trust.

Management: There is some data suggesting that high dose steroids may be useful in managing subdural hematoma, but with the described mass effect and lack of response, strongly consider surgical decompression.
