Great question!: There is lots of emphasis now on high protein/low carb eating. Remember, for most people that is 45-55 grams a day. Overdoing it can harmful! But good snack choices are: hard boiled eggs (3-4/week), nuts (cashews/walnuts/almonds), Greek yogurt, string cheese, deli turkey, protein shakes/bar, low-fat cottage cheese, tofu, nut/peanut butter, pumpkin seeds, edamame.
