Glucose in urine: While small amounts of protein and ketones may appear in urine of healthy people, glucose in the urine is not normal and may reflect a problem in the kidneys or the presence of diabetes. If the amount was "trace" it may be falsely positive, but deserves rechecking the urine and a blood sugar test.
