Your urine may be entirely normal but it is a good idea to recheck it one more time and see if there are any Red blood cells(RBCs) in your urine. I recently had a physical for a new job, including blood work and urinalysis. To prepare, I didn't consume any food the morning of the exam except water. The results came back with "Trace A" ketones in my urine. I'm not diabetic.What does that mean?
What might be cause of trace ketones and moderate blood in routine urine sample. NO RBC in urine though. My non-fasting glucose was 102. ?
