Abnormal urine: Ketones (k) in the urine can be seen in a diabetics who need Insulin to control their glucose levels are denied it, something called diabetic ketoacidosis. K can also be seen in non-diabetics who are not eating carbohydrates, and shows they are using its fat stores for energy. Proteinuria comes from glomerular diseases of the kidney. Blood comes from uti's or problems in the urinary tract.
