Alt 57 for 2 yrs. ast 33, gamma gt 47, bilirubin 0.5. anti hcv & hbsag negative, no fatty liver. i have ps arthritis. why alt is elevated for 2 yrs?

Liver disease.: There are a few other potential causes which may be pursued with simple lab testing (wilsons disease, alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency, autoimmune hepatitis, etc), but if this all turns out negative (as I expect it might) then you will need to consider biopsy. If your numbers have been stable I am not sure this would be particularly useful for you.
