I had mono 2 yrs ago and my lymph node won't go back to normal size. it's like a marble, you can't see it just feel it. 3 docs said not to worry. help?

Reactive node: Occasionally there are lymph nodes that just remain enlarged after they are stimulated by a disease. Accept this as normal lymph node, and keep observing it for signs of change.

Fourth Opinion: Without examining you carefully it is difficult to say much, although I would tend to agree with the three docs. BUT with your continued concern I believe would benefit from further evaluation from a specialist who can really explain this and do a thorough investigation. Do not walk out that door until ALL of your questions are answered! After this, let's tend to your underlying anxiety.
