I have 2 pea sized occipital lymph nodes at the back of my head. i've had them for 5 months and they have not changed whatsoever. its normal for me to be able to feel them because i have mono and i'm very slim, but what cuases them to be immovable?

At the back of the head there isn't much space under the skin and over the skull. It may be reassuring to know that pea sized lymph nodes are more likely to be physiologic, even if they don't move very much. Fixed lymph nodes are much more worrisome if they are large.
