Too risky: to just wait. If you have precancerous cervical cells, then they are exactly that - precancerous. While you are waiting for them to go away they could change from precancerous to cancerous. It is best to see a gynecologist and have this treated and monitored closely until your pap returns to normal.

Yes: Yes, they can go away with time. Some do not and they get progressively worse. So, you need to be followed by a gynecologist for a colposcopy and regular follow up PAP smears.
