Doctor can evaluate: In such a case, the primary care doctor or an Ob-Gyn doctor can evaluate for the causes. Swelling in the armpit can be examined to see if it is due to lymph nodes, an accessory breast, or mastitis. Night sweats can be due to infection, or even due to big changes in hormones. Women should still be losing weight if only 3 months after delivery. (Cancer is not likely but always possible at any time.)
