See answer : Not clear from your question for what problem you were prescribed an antibiotic. If it was for a possible UTI, I would recommend a urine culture if you are still having urinary symptoms. Regarding your possible abnormal urinalysis showing glucose and protein, I would recommend a repeat urinalysis and a fasting blood test to check your fasting blood sugar and kidney function (BUN, creatinine, GFR).
