I saw a cardiologist everything looks great except he recommends i drink salt water? for low bp if i want why is this? he said something about sodium?

Salt water: If you are having low blood pressure and low sodium then salt tablets are a possible option for you. The extra salt will increase your intravascular volume thus increase your pressure. The opposite is true as well. That's why we tell people with high blood pressure to cut back on their salt in their diets. Hope this helps.

Salty: saltwater causes your body to retain water. This keeps your intravascular volume higher. That will raise your blood pressure. If you have any dizziness it's because of low pressure. He is trying to counteract that by increasing your intravascular volume
