A 43-year-old male asked:

Can some table salt(sodium chloride) be mixed wid fresh unsweetened coconut water safely to make electrolyte drink?can this fix the low sodium/high potassium makeup of coconut water?and make it better balanced in getting sodium&potassium chloride?

Adding table salt to fresh coconut water will not be harmful, but just adding an occasional balanced electrolyte drink like Gatorade or Pediolyte will restore any unbalance in sodium/potassium without altering the taste of the coconut water.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
