Your right leg: May have a different girth than your left, for example it may be slightly swollen compared to the opposite side.

My calf feels tight & pulses when laid flat down. same thing happened to other leg last year. any idea what could be wrong?

What happened...: ...last year? Did you have a DVT/blood clot, or just this pulsing sensation in the other calf? Are you a smoker on birth control pills? If you develop warmth or swelling in that calf, get it checked out immediately. You may need an ultrasound of the veins. Docs, depending on their style, may throw in a D-dimer too. Truly impossible to say w/out in-person exam.
