Total Bilirubin: Hi, it depends what the other markers of ur liver function test are, especially ur Alkaline Phosphotase and GGT, if the other markers are normal and your red blood cell count number is normal, too then you might have a condition called Gilbert disease which Bilirubin goes up during fasting and stress and it is benign.

Yes and it depends : On the cause. 2.4mg/dl is high for total bilirubin. First thing to do is to find out if it is direct or indirect or both types of bilirubin that are elevated. High bilirubin can be due to liver disease, hemolysis, biliary obstruction and the treatment is dictated by the cause of the abnormality.

Liver: It has something to do with the liver. You need to be checked to see what kind of bilirubin it is to know where in the process there is a failure, but that level is significant. This can be caused by gallbladder issues, liver failure/issues, and blood breakdown. Get it checked out asap.
