My son is 19 and bow legged. he has alot back,knee pain. is there something we can do to help like wear a special shoe or take pills etc?

Orthopedic eval: Unfortunately, there is no pill that will reverse his growth pattern. He should have a formal Orthopedic assessment to see if Orthotics (shoe inserts) could help accommodate his stance and reduce his pain, or if more involved intervention would be required. Best of luck!

Genu varum: Proper treatment of the underlying reason for the bowleg must be considered. See your doctor to work him up for the cause and management. Bracing and surgical corrections are considered if the problem does not correct with the other measures.
