A member asked:

If i blow my nose, i get a sharp, stinging pain in my left ear. i know docs dislike antibiotics for ear pain. possible otitis media? can i let it go?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Eustachian tube: This maneuver commonly pushes air into your Eustachian tube which can push out/stretch the eardrum producing pain. I would just tone down the force of blowing your nose.
