Clarify: You mention there was a sharp pain after the pop but it it not currently painful. There may be a partial ligamentous injury. She should be evaluated by orthopedics.

Needs evaluation: She would need an evaluation by a physician. Depending on your area and pediatrician's availability, an appointment with the pediatrician, urgent care, or ER would be warranted. Prior to giving any medications or doing any activities that could worsen any condition, consult with your pediatrician. After a doctor's examination, further study with xray, ultrasound, or other imaging may be needed.
