Managing flu: We're in flu season, but so far there's been minimal influenza in most of the US. There are however many other causes of viral illness (colds, and upper respiratory illness). Treatment is still rest, fluids, and acetaminophen or ibupofen for fever and aches. If you haven't already had one this year, now's a great time to get a flu shot! See your doctor if high fever, chest pain,or short of breath.
