A member asked:

My granddaughter been sent to oesteopath with suspected lockjaw maybe cause by having head suction at birth. is this easily cured. she is 6 weeks old?

Odd question: Lockjaw is the lay term for tetanus, a neurological condition caused by toxins from an infection. It is not caused by head suction. Wry neck, where the kid holds the head to one side with stiffness in the neck muscles, might arise from birth trauma to the neck muscles.Since you use terms that seem out of place, further comment on cause and success of treatment are too speculative to be helpful.
