On a recent cbc it came back as low on mch/mchc yet my iron was normal. why is that? doc doesn't seemed concerned.

Tiny piece of puzzle: If it is slightly low could be normal variation, especially if rest of rbc indices were normal. Plus the MCV would be more affected by an abnormal amount of iron.
