Pulp cap: since you are asymptomatic for the last year, it appears that the pulp cap is successful. Don't keep worrying about this.

It is possible: Overall, the success rate of pulp capping is 60%. The outcome is considered as successful if the tooth is asymptomatic and not associated with periapical radiolucency or other root pathology.
