A member asked:

Could gallbladder problems affect absorption of medications or how they work?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Should not: Excellent question - the gallbladder stores and excretes bile which assist in helping the body emulsify/digest fat. This should not affect the absorption of medications - liver and kidney function have the most effect on how medications work.
