A member asked:

Recommendation regarding using ox bile after gallbladder removal for omega 3 absorption as well as vitamin a d, k.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not needed: Your liver makes plenty of bile. The gallbladder just stores it. When your gallbladder is removed the bile your liver makes drips into the intestines continuosly and is still there to help digest fats (and fat soluble vitamins) adding bovine bile salts will not be helpful and may lead to diarrhea.
