Tough to say: HealthTap is for providing answers to certain questions and informing patients regarding medical care,etc. Without examining you, we can not really give you medical advice on treatments. What I would recommend is calling the Dr, see if you can take nexium (esomeprazole) twice a day, AVOID all trigger foods, and get an earlier appt. It seems crazy you need to wait until Jan. for an appt! Best wishes.
