Need treatment: If you are having a period only every 3-4 months, that's not normal and need to be treated. If you're not wanting to get pregnant, the easiest way to regulate is with birth control pills. If you are wanting to get pregnant, you are probably not ovulating, and you need to discuss treatment with your GYN.
