Eczema: Best way to treat eczema is with a topical steroid cream most of which are by prescription. Over-the-counter hydrocortisone may help but it is likely that you will need something more potent as prescribed by your doctor.

Need to see lesion: Eczema would be some kind of skin inflammatory lesion as opposed to mole or pigmented spots of the skin. If it is red with a central pus-like material, you need topical antibiotic;if it is reddish, blotchy, elevated, you need some antiallergic cream which could have small amount of steroid. Is this a single lesion or a few in clusters?
